Guillemots - The Forum, London

Guillemots are a good band, but Fyfe Dangerfield needs to pull his finger out a bit more with this performance at London's Forum.

Pivot are a semi-electronic band recently signed to Warp Records. In The Blood shows very promising potential for things to come, and their live performance is also phenomenal.

We Are The Physics - Album & Live review

Glaswegian's We Are The Physics play unrelentingly fast paced indie/punk while never taking themselves too seriously. Their debut; 'Are OK At Music' is a refreshingly addictive album that you could joyride to.....or just pogo dance.

Their live performance is just as energetic; they put on an entertaining show at Camden's Barfly.

Islands - Arm's Way

Islands 'Arm's Way' is a highly accessible yet unconventional pop album; its endless charm ensures I never let it stray too far from my stereo.

Ween - Live @ Shepherds Bush Empire

These two are odd little fuckers, but that's part of the reason why Ween are so good. This was their first UK show in five years, and brought the same off the wall antics that their music portrays. AIDS!

A video of one of their best tunes can be found...here
