Beachdown Festival

Struggling throughout most of the summer with little money, no holidays and few blow out “Let’s go fucking mental” nights, Beachdown festival was the weekend in which all my hopes and aspirations were to culminate – and I wasn’t gonna let this time go to waste.

Armed with alcohol, a large group of friends, a few mad men, happy plant and a lot of pumped up enthusiasm, all the needed ingredients were in abundance. Next thing was to mash all the constituents together in an irreprehensible, cathartic and erratic manner and see just how much of an unwholesomely fun time we could have. Results follow...in the order my fragmented memory put them in.

18th Century palaces don't stick out in my mind as being obvious music venues, but this gig is something refreshingly different. Justice and Late Of The Pier deliver a sterling performance at Somerset House, despite the cats and dogs.
